The Year of Holy Connection

Returning to First Love & Seeing Promises Fulfilled

The Lord has been speaking to me about this new Hebrew year, 5786, and I want to release this word over you, because it is not just for me it is for the body of Christ.

A couple of weeks ago , as we were driving to look at the building for our church, something supernatural happened. Out of nowhere, butterflies began to surround us. They weren’t just fluttering off to the side they were swarming directly in front of our car. We counted them carefully as they crossed before us: one hundred and five butterflies.

Immediately, I knew God was speaking. It was too precise, too unusual, too prophetic to ignore. And right there in the car, my daughter-in-law opened her Bible and began to read. She turned to Psalm 105, and she read aloud the words:

“He remembers His covenant forever,

the promise He made, for a thousand generations.” (Psalm 105:8)

The Holy Spirit whispered to me: “This is your word. This is the word for My people in this year ! 

(I remember. )I do not forget My promises. I will fulfill what I have spoken.” I will bring the promise to pass . Tears began to stream down my face , the weeks before leading to this encounter i was reminding God of the promises he had made to my family and i and i allowed my faith to go to a level it had never been before . Where there was usually discouragement or disappointment , i realized that i was not standing in faith like i should to believe God for the promises he had made . 

The Butterflies – A Prophetic Sign

Butterflies are not just beautiful — they are a prophetic symbol of transformation, resurrection, and new beginnings. They begin in hiddenness, in the cocoon, where everything familiar is stripped away. And then suddenly, at the appointed time, they emerge in beauty and freedom, carrying the evidence of transformation.

God is saying: “This year, what has been in hiding will emerge. What has been in the cocoon of waiting will break open. What has looked dead will be resurrected. I am releasing My people into the fullness of transformation.”

And just as those butterflies went before us on the way to see a building, the Lord says: “My promises are going before you. My covenant is leading the way. I am not only preparing the place, I am escorting you into it.”

The 105 butterflies were a sign pointing directly to Psalm 105 — a chapter all about God’s covenant faithfulness, how He led Israel, how He performed His word, and how He fulfilled His promises. This year will be marked by Psalm 105 moments — undeniable evidence that God has remembered His covenant.

Returning to First Love – Holy Connection

But the Lord didn’t stop there. He spoke to me about the Hebrew year itself: 5786. The last number, six, is represented by the Hebrew letter vav (ו). Vav is a picture of a nail or a hook, something that fastens and connects.

Prophetically, the Lord says: “This is the year of holy connection. This is the year to fasten your heart back to Mine, to return to first love, to be anchored again at the cross.”

We live in a distracted world, where it’s easy to labor for God but forget to linger with Him. We’ve done the work, but we’ve lost the wonder. We’ve served with our hands but neglected His heart. But this is the cry of the Spirit:

“Come back to your first love. Do not mistake busyness for intimacy. Do not mistake activity for anointing. I want your love more than your labor. I want your devotion more than your duty. I am calling you back to the fire of first love.”

5786 is the year where God is pulling His people into deeper intimacy, into consecration, into covenant love. It is the year of holy connection — fastening ourselves again to Him.

Forerunners Arising

And the Lord spoke to me about those butterflies in another way: they were not only a sign of promises fulfilled, but a sign of forerunners.

The butterflies went before us down the road, preparing the way. God said: “Just as those butterflies led the way, I am raising up forerunners who will go ahead of My people into new territory. They may look delicate, but they carry the weight of My glory. They will be signs of new beginnings, carriers of transformation, and they will point the way into promise.”

Forerunners are emerging in this season — young and old, hidden ones who have been in the cocoon of preparation, pioneers who refused to bow, voices who have been refined in the secret place. They are about to come forth with beauty, with boldness, and with prophetic clarity.

A Generational Covenant

And there is something so significant about how this word was confirmed — through my daughter-in-law opening the Bible and reading Psalm 105 aloud. That moment was prophetic in itself. God was showing me: “This is not just about you. This is about your children and your children’s children. This is about generational covenant.”

Psalm 105:8 says: “He remembers His covenant forever, the promise He made, for a thousand generations.”

5786 will be a year where promises begin to break open not only for you, but for your lineage. This is a year of generational fulfillment — a year where God fastens His covenant into families, ministries, and spiritual sons and daughters. He is securing something that will outlive us, something that will carry into the generations to come.

Prophetic Declarations for 5786

• This is the year of holy connection.

• I return to my first love — Jesus is my portion, my passion, and my pursuit.

• God has not forgotten His promises — Psalm 105 will be fulfilled in my life.

• The butterflies are a sign: promises are going before me into destiny.

• Forerunners are rising — I will see them lead the way into new territory.

• God is fastening His covenant not only to me, but to my children and my children’s children.

The Call

So I release this prophetic call: 5786 is The Year of Holy Connection. It is the year to fasten yourself again to Jesus. It is the year to rekindle the fire of first love. It is the year of butterflies and forerunners, of transformation and new beginnings, of promises remembered and fulfilled.

God says: “I remember. I will fulfill. I will do what I have spoken. Return to Me, and I will return to you.”

Get ready to see sudden answers, long-awaited promises, and generational covenant breaking open before your eyes. This is the year of holy connection — returning to first love, and seeing promises fulfilled.
